Google introduced Pixel smartphone in October 2016. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 441 pixels per inch with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

The Google Pixel is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone is available in two variants of internal storage 32GB and 128GB with no option for expansion. The Google Pixel packs a 12.3-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. With a best-ever 89 DxOMark Mobile score, Pixel’s camera lets you take brilliant photos in low light, bright light or any light.


The Google Pixel runs Android 7.1(Nougat) and is powered by a 2770mAh non-removable battery. It measures 143.80 x 69.50 x 8.60 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 143.00 grams. The Google Pixel also features Splash and dust resistant so you don’t have to worry about it all the time.

The Google Pixel is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint, Compass, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer.

Pricing starts at $649 for the smaller 5-inch Pixel with 32GB of internal storage and $749 with 128GB of internal storage. The Google Pixel XL starts at $769 for 32GB, or $869 for 128GB.
